and here we go…
At last the new computer we’ve ordered is said to be arriving sometime this week.
I want to restate what it is we do at Aotearoa NZ Designs for those who don’t know what it is we do.
A more complete description is in the sidebar on the right.
1. First and foremost we compose orginal music
2. We perform at bars, cafe’s, weddings and other events
3. We record and mix music
I for one am excited at all the new possibilities the new hardware and software will allow us.
As said before, big things are going to be happening in the not to distant future.

This is a live recorded blues piece from a jam session recording we did yesterday. My brother Isaac is on the Harmonica, our mate Baedon is on Bass and Rhythm Guitar and I’m on Lead Guitar.
I love the vibe on this recording. It was done off the cuff – a live recorded jam.

Here’s the first recording my mate Baeden and I recorded together yesterday called ‘Summer Funk’. Baeden recorded the two rhythm guitar parts & the bassline and I recorded the drums, piano and brass parts. It’s the first time I’ve experimented with Funk performance and composition. I found when Baeden and I brought our own musical sound to the mix, it blended nicely.
